We are looking to hire a Diesel Fleet Mechanic to help maintain our fleet of Freightliner trucks and container chassis and respond to roadside assistance calls. The candidate will be responsible for responding to roadside assistance calls, completing inspections and preventive maintenance requirements, correcting vehicle deficiencies, making adjustments and alignments, and keeping records.

We require:
- Fleet mechanic with tractor & trailer experience.
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
- Working English proficiency.
- Must be able to operate hand tools, power tools, compressors, generators, all service types of gauges, meters, etc.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations & CA BIT inspections.
- Comfortable running computer diagnostics and troubleshooting issues
- Experience dealing with breakdowns, roadside callouts, and ordering parts.
- Experience working with Detroit & Cummings diesel engines.
- Experience welding and cutting material using arc welding or flame-cutting equipment is a plus.
- Must adhere to regular and predictable attendance and be available for occasional overtime or weekend work.
