We are a long-standing property management company has an opening for a Property Supervisor. This position manages a portfolio in and around the South Bay Area (South LA, Hawthorne, Inglewood, Wilmington). Please do not apply if you have not managed multiple properties or not taken on a role in the past of a regional/property supervisor.
This position includes, but are not limited to, the following responsibilities:
Coordinating Tenant move-in and move-out process.
Following up with leasing staff potential prospects and coordination of lease documents and credit approval for new leasing.
Lease renewals for existing tenants.
Focus on marketing and renting vacancies, as well as retaining existing tenants.
Overseeing and running credit checks and background checks for potential tenants
Coordinating tenant issues and maintenance requests
Property Inspections
Work with vendors and maintenance for timely completion of unit turns and maintenance work on properties
Review and post Notices
Coordination of and attendance in evictions with legal counsel
Oversee and train onsite property managers and maintenance staff
Address concerns with staff and work with HR to address in the appropriate fashion
Must be willing to be hands on, visit properties on a daily basis and cover for property managers as needed.
Any other duties related to this portfolio, as directed by your Asset Manager.
Requirements:
Must have a valid CA driver's license and a car to use for work.
Must have knowledge of Excel, Outlook and Word
Problem solving skills.
Candidates must be currently located in the Hawthorne or Los Angeles area and have at least 2-5 years previous property management experience
Spanish speaking is a plus
Knowledge of Yardi software is a plus
