We are a General Construction & Real Estate Development company. We are looking for a Project Manager to assist on our multiple ongoing projects. We build mostly New Construction Multi Unit Projects. The Project Manager will be managing all projects from start to finish. This is a great opportunity to learn every trade of General Construction since we build each project from Ground Up. Looking for someone who is eager to learn General Residential & Commercial Construction and is willing to grow within the company. Also prefer someone with some experience in Construction whether on the field or from schooling.
Job Description:
Schedule & meet subcontractors on job-sites
Manage construction schedule & deadlines
Create Material Takeoffs for multiple trade and order ahead of time
Meet with City Inspectors & Representatives on site
Follow Project Checklists provided for each project
Visit each project daily to ensure quality control
Organize City Utility Services for each project
Requirements:
- Must be well organized, reliable & repsonsible
- General understanding of multiple trades
- Willing to drive around to multiple projects all throughout Los Angeles
- Available early mornings / Open Availability
- Fluent Spanish Speaking
- Reliable Vehicle to drive to and from each project (Mileage will be paid)
- Motivated in learning General Construction (Great opportunity for someone looking to become a General Contractor)
Have a good understanding of Construction Plans and how to read them
Microsoft Excel / Word / Google Drive proficciency
Can work independently and great communication skills
Must have Legal Driver's License & clean driving record
Office is located in Alhambra. All projects are in different areas of LA ranging from West LA to North Hollywood
Ideal skills:
Basic knowledge of construction
Previous Construction Work preferred
Knows how to use CAD, Sketchup or any other construction program
