Application Support Engineer

Description We are seeking an Application Support Engineer to join our team, located in the heart of Huntington Park, California. In this role, you will be involved in GIS data requirements, GIO validation data, map data, street centerlines, common place, points of interest, municipal, zone area, and response boundaries. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Handle GIS data requirements with a focus on Azure Validate GIO data to ensure accuracy and reliability Maintain and update map data as required Manage street center lines and common place data Monitor points of interest and municipal data Determine zone area and response boundaries Utilize Cisco, Citrix, Cloud, and Dell technologies to support applications Implement firewall technologies and backup technologies to safeguard data Maintain computer hardware and configuration management for optimal performance Provide exceptional customer service, resolving customer inquiries and issues efficiently. Requirements Applicant must possess a minimum of 5 years of experience as an Application Support Engineer or in a similar role. Proficiency in Cisco Technologies is essential. Knowledge and experience working with Citrix Technologies is required. Familiarity with Cloud Technologies is a significant advantage. Experience with Dell Technologies is necessary for the role. The candidate should have a strong background in Firewall Technologies. Proficiency in Active Directory is a key requirement. Mastery of Backup Technologies is essential. A strong understanding of Computer Hardware is necessary. Experience in Configuration Management is a significant advantage. Excellent Customer Service skills are required for this role.
