Sr. Accountant

Description Robert Half, Management Resources is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant for their client. This role is integral to managing and compiling financials for their clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all relevant regulations.Position Overview:As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial statements, recording journal entries, and ensuring accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of how all financial elements fit together and be proficient in using QuickBooks. This is an onsite position located in Huntington Beach.Key Responsibilities:-Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards.-Record and reconcile journal entries to ensure accurate financial reporting.-Use QuickBooks to manage and maintain financial records for clients.-Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.-Provide support during audits and assist with tax preparations as needed.-Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting standards and industry trends.Requirements -Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.-Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a CPA firm.-Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite.-Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.-Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.-Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
