Roads Operations Administrator

Green Diamond Resource Company is currently recruiting for a Roads Operations Administrator. This position is responsible for planning and administering of contracts for logging road work on our private property located on the northern coast of California. The main focus of this position is the oversite of independent contractors who specialize in road construction, repairs and maintenance. Must be familiar with the California Forest Practice Rules and Timber Harvest Plan process to ensure all contracts are administered safely, within California regulations and assure commitments are met on time.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

Bachelor degree in Forest Management or equivalent work experience.

Valid driver's license.

Have a working knowledge of the California Forest Practice Rules.

Demonstrated negotiating skills.

Proven skills at estimating road construction rates and timelines.

Ability to be highly motivated and self-directed.

Must have strong leadership skills. Work with integrity, trust and commitment, setting an example for others.
