United gas Chevron in Eureka
Loleta Market in Loleta
Hobys Market in Scotia
Currently we are looking for 2 deli clerks to work in our new deli at Loleta market. All applicant’s should have prior experience working in a deli environment/cashiering but we are willing to train the right people. Please have reliable transportation. Hours needed and responsibilities listed below-
10am-4pm 7x a week. Deli clerks

All potential candidates must be consistently punctual and provide references upon applying. This is a part time position. Open availability is a plus.
Cashier responsibilities:
- Provide fast, fun and friendly checkout service.
- Resolve guest concerns in a positive, helpful manner.
- Possess excellent customer service skills.
- Handle money, refunds, and exchanges.
- Read labels and other product information.
- Quickly and accurately scan and bag all items and collect payment.
-Stock items as required by management.
-Fill propane (United Gas only)
-Be comfortable running a cash register during busy times
Deli clerk responsibilities:
Customer service:
Assist customers with orders, answer questions,
Handle customer inquiries and requests in a friendly and courteous manner.
Food preparation and handling
Slice and weigh meats and cheeses to customer specifications.
Prepare other deli items such as sandwiches, salads, and soups.
Package and label products for sale.
Operate deli equipment like slicers and scales safely and efficiently.
Operations and maintenance:
Maintain a clean and sanitary workspace and equipment, including display cases.
Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures.
Manage product inventory, which can include restocking shelves and rotating stock.
Assist with unloading deliveries and proper storage of products.
