Mental Health Clinician with Two Feathers NAFS

Schedule: Full-time (32 to 40 hours/week)

Compensation: Associate: $28 to $32 per hour DOE, plus benefits. Licensed: $33 to $40 per hour DOE, plus benefits.

Two Feathers Native American Family Services is seeking to hire a full-time Mental Health Clinician who will facilitate clinical treatment services with Native American children within Two Feathers NAFS’ service area.

Two Feathers, a tribally chartered nonprofit of Big Lagoon Rancheria, provides behavioral health and culture-based prevention services. Two Feathers mission is to empower Native American youth and their families to achieve their full potential by offering culturally affirming mental health and wellness programs in Humboldt County. Two Feathers serves all self-identified Native American Youth and their families in Humboldt County.

Under the supervision of Two Feathers Clinical Director, the Mental Health Clinician works in a team setting to facilitate clinical treatment services with Native American children and adults within Two Feathers service area. This position will provide direct services to Native American families and youth. The clinician will also provide short-term crisis response support to. In addition to direct clinical services, the clinician supports the provision of Two Feathers cultural programming via interagency support. This position will work in the office and in the field.

QUALIFICATIONS

- Licensure: Current California MFT or LCSW license or be registered as an Associate Clinical Social Worker or Associate Marriage and Family Therapist. Must be in good standing with the California Board of Behavioral Science.

- Education: Graduate degree in Social Work or Psychology

- Experience: Experience working in tribal communities with Native American youth and their families, preferred

- Current driver’s license, in good standing.

- Fingerprint clearance with the Department of Justice, FBI, and Child Abuse Index

- Must comply with a drug-free workplace
