3D Printing Company in Humboldt Seeking Operations Manager

California, Humboldt county, 95511 Humboldt county USA
Aplica ya

We are an artisan manufacturing company in central Eureka looking to replace our original operations manager, who is currently scheduled to move out of his position at the end of September.

The operations manager position is the only on-site position in the company, and the new manager would be taking over the complete duty of managing and operating this small business.

This is a unique opportunity to work at a startup that has long term potential for growth as the company and the industry expands. Great for someone who wants to learn how to run a business and operate 3D printing technology.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

Operating and maintaining 3D printers.

Operating small power tools to finish, clean, configure, and assemble our products.

Operating a computer (Mac) to fulfill customer orders including: packaging products, printing shipping labels, and shipping the packages at UPS.

Providing customer service over email and phone.

Communicating with distributors and working with their systems to fulfill and track bulk orders.

Sending invoices to distributors, charging credit cards, and following up any missed payments.

Updating inventory and supply spreadsheets.

Ordering from suppliers and maintaining stock of raw materials.

Collecting and utilizing pallets.

Cleaning equipment and work areas.

This job would require about 6-8 hours per day, 4-5 days per week depending on order volume and other factors.

We are offering $30/hour compensation after the applicant has successfully taken over the operations management role. The training period will last approximately 1-2 months, and the pay during that time will be $20/hour.

The current operations manager works on a contractor basis so that he can write off his expenses (such as vehicle and gas expenses). This is open to discussion however, as the most important thing to the owner is that the new operations manager is a good fit for the company.

Please email Chris your resume along with a cover letter that explains why you might be a good fit for this position. We are looking to hire immediately, and will begin interviews starting the week of August 8, 2022.

If you have any questions, feel free to text or call Chris at (949) 291-6919. You may have to leave a message because he screens his calls. Thank you for checking out this opportunity - we hope to see you at an interview!
