JOB TITLE: Warehouse/General Laborer

REPORTS TO: Brewery Operations Manager

DEPARTMENT: Brewhouse

LOCATION: 101 Taylor Way Blue Lake, CA 95525

STATUS: Non-Exempt; 40 hours per week

POSITION SUMMARY

The Warehouse Lead is responsible for giving the final seal-of-approval on all finished products leaving the Brewhouse before they reach customers. The Warehouse Lead possesses knowledge of all finished goods and efficiently prepares all outgoing orders to ensure our beer reaches its final destination in impeccable condition. The Warehouse Lead works with all departments in the Brewhouse to ensure all orders are sent out timely and accurately.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Builds outgoing orders while maintaining accurate records of finished product inventory

Assists with inventory and ensures controls are being followed

Ensures inventory is maintained within the inventory management system

Loads outgoing orders onto trucks

Receives materials from suppliers

Receives and track shipments

Schedules freight pick-up of outgoing orders

Ensures finished goods are leaving the warehouse in pristine quality

Provides constant, attentive and friendly service to customers and vendors

Uses appropriate equipment and follows proper SOPs for all duties

Responsible for handling fragile packaging materials

Responsible for ensuring the warehouse is stocked and organized

Responsible for packing merchandise in accordance with relevant procedures and standards

Ensures efficient palletization

Processes and files various documents

Operates heavy machinery

Sorts empty kegs.

Stocks the taproom as needed

Forklift maintenance as needed

Maintains a clean and safe environment in the warehouse

Assists with Cellar duties, as needed

Other duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

1. Must be able to work a variety of shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays

2. Ability to work long hours of heavy manual labor

3. Must be detail oriented, organized and have the ability to multi-task

4. Must possess excellent customer service skills and have a positive attitude

5. Must possess a strong sense of integrity

6. Ability to demonstrate good judgement, problem solving, and decision-making skills

7. Must have an open mind and the ability to work with diverse groups of people

8. Understanding of OSHA and industry safety standards.

9. Basic computer knowledge is required

10. Knowledge of Microsoft Office software is highly preferred

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma or GED required

Must be a minimum of 21 years of age

Possess a valid Driver’s License and be insurable by the Tribe

Previous shipping & receiving experience is preferred

Forklift certification is preferred

Position may require exertion up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently or constantly lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move Paskenta Mad River Brewing LLC property. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
