Hello. My name is Colin and I own and manage the outdoor property management company Humboldt Shire and number of local high end local gardening, speciality-fine landscaping, property clean-up and brush clearing businesses here in Humboldt. The crew and I are looking for a kind and experienced team member to add to the team who believes themselves, via through the lens of humility, to have leadership potential. The crew and I need an ‘A’ Team crew member that can jump right in, has experience and can keep up with the rest of the crew.
Hourly base pay starts between a range of $19.00 to $25.00 an hour and can increase as you demonstrate your proficiency.
In additional, many jobs pay more an hour.
Increases in base pay after you start depends on you. Your pay rate, raises and job security are based on your performance, knowledge, attitude, character, motivation, self drive, orientation to detail, demonstration of skills and willing to learn new ones. Once you demonstrate certain proficiencies pay jumps. A solid ‘A’ team is what are looking for.
For super skilled gardeners I am willing to negotiate.
Perks Include - Paid 15 min. breaks very 2 hours (That’s 3 paid breaks for an 8hr day.), a friendly all inclusive work environment, bonuses and the ability to listen to music, podcasts, etc while you are working. Weekends are also off. We work 9-5 Monday thru Friday.
Position Available:
‘A’ team Crew member. Full Time. With lots of room for advancement. You must be able to run a weed whacker from waist level to ground level for up to 8 hrs. (Sometimes on a slope) with 15 minute breaks every two hours in between. You also need the agility to be on the ground on your knees (weed pulling), with well cushioned knee pads, for up to 8 hours with 15 minute breaks every two hours.
Also, you have to be more about demonstrating your skills, then talking about them.
You must also:
Be simply a good listener.
Have your own reliable transportation
Have a completely working smart phone
Possess a valid driver's license.
Pass a background check.
Not have any felonies on your recorded
Pass a piss test for methamphetamine
Have the ability to communicate with members of the public with good communication skills.
Must be personable and accommodating.
Must have good eye contact when holding a conversation.
Doubling down on being a good listener that retains what is said.
Must be professional in appearance and actions.
Be punctual and dependable with a can-do attitude.
Maintain and care for company equipment and tools.
Not be afraid to get dirty and work down on the earth.
Perform highly physical work on a consistent paced basis.
Be willing to be part of a friendly, toxic free, cooperative team
Take direction and recall the direction given
