NEEDED: live in caregiver

Hi, we’re looking for a live in caregiver for my 96 year old grandpa. He lives in eureka, and we have caregivers coming over throughout the week for a few hours at a time but now need someone here full time to give my mom and I some respite. There is a furnished bedroom that would be yours. It would mostly be help with making meals and general caregiving, going on walks and doing light PT exercises, helping getting dressed in the morning and ready for bed at night, companionship etc. He uses a walker but otherwise is still mobile, although after a recent hospital stay he is weaker and that is why someone who is upbeat and encouraging is important right now. Someone who will focus on getting him nutrition, helping build his strength back, and good companionship is key right now. No dementia or anything like that. A few other caregivers will come throughout the week to help as well, along with his daughter and granddaughter. Baths and housework are already covered for the most part, but dishes/laundry may be needed. We're looking for someone to fill in the gap when we're not there, and who could fit in well with our family. Please feel free to reach out with any other questions!
