Hospice of Humboldt is now hiring LVN Hospice House Nurses!
This position has a full-time or part-time option - Days and/or nights (10% differential pay for nights)
Sign on bonus offered - $2,500 for full-time, $1,250 for half-time
The Hospice House Nurse is responsible for the provision and coordination of care for the hospice patient, including their family and caregiver(s). The Hospice House Nurse primarily provides nursing care to patients residing in the Ida Emerson Hospice House but may occasionally provide nursing care to patients residing outside of the IEHH, under the direction of a IEHH Clinical Administrator and under physician’s orders. Care is provided in collaboration with other Interdisciplinary Group members as described in the patients’ Plan of Care.
Minimum Qualifications
1. Graduate of an accredited nursing program
2. Current California Vocational Nurse license
3. Minimum of one year of experience as a professional nurse within the previous three years
4. Valid driver’s license, proof of acceptable automobile insurance coverage, and reliable transportation as specified by
Hospice of Humboldt’s policies
5. Reliable mobile phone with plan that provides good local coverage.
6. Basic computer skills
