Full-Time Front Desk Medical Assistant
Redwoods Rural Health Center is looking for an experienced full time Front Desk Medical Assistant to join our Team! The Front Desk Medical Assistant role combines key responsibilities from both the front desk and medical assistant functions to support patient care and smooth operations at Redwoods Rural Health Center in Fortuna and Redway clinics.
The individual in this position will be the first point of contact for patients, performing a variety of customer service, clerical, and cash management tasks. In addition to these duties, the individual will assist patients and healthcare providers by delivering administrative and clinical medical assistant support services. Clinical tasks will be performed in line with training and certification requirements. This position requires someone who is caring, compassionate, able to multi-task, and dedicated to helping patients access needed services in a busy, team-oriented environment.
RRHC is an EOE and offers a 4-day work week, competitive compensation. health benefits, paid time off and retirement match available for full and part-time employees working over 24+ hours per week. The salary range is $21 to $28 per hour depending on qualifications and experience.
