JOB DESCRIPTION:
This job is responsible for the operation of the location and its workers when the store manager, assistant manager, and 3rd Person are absent. Approximately half of the shift is spent doing paperwork such as ordering groceries, counting cash and checks to balance tills, and preparing night deposits. The other half of the shift is spent checking out groceries, bagging items, accepting payment, and making change. Occasionally assists customers to their vehicles with groceries, also stocking and facing the store shelves.
REQUIREMENTS:
Must be willing to relocate for promotion.
An individual must complete the PIC/management training program.
Include two or three professional references, for example store manager, district manager or previous employers.
Must pass required background check.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The physical demands described below are those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions for this job:
Work in a standing position for up to 8 hours a day.
Use hands, arms, and fingers to handle tools or operate power equipment
Lift up to 10 pounds on a regular basis, up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis and up to 75 pounds occasionally.
Carry up to 10 pounds on a regular basis for a distance of 50 ft, up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis for a distance of 10 ft, and up to 75 pounds for a distance of 10 ft occasionally.
Push up to 100 pounds for a distance of 50 feet.
Pull up to 50 pounds for a distance of 50 feet.
Stoop, kneel, crouch and/or crawl
May be required to use ladders and/or stairs
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
An employee may encounter certain work environment characteristics while performing the essential functions of this position. They may include but are not limited to:
Extreme cold
Wet or humid conditions
Slippery surfaces
Confined spaces
High noise level
