Are you seeking a change of pace from the city and ready to embrace a quieter, more community-centered lifestyle? Bigfoot Motel, a charming and well-established 28-room motel nestled in the scenic town of Willow Creek, is seeking a dedicated Innkeeper/Hotel Manager to lead our operations and provide exceptional guest experiences.

Located approximately 45 minutes from Eureka, Willow Creek offers the perfect balance of small-town warmth and outdoor beauty—"river fun in the mountain sun." Our motel has a loyal customer base and strong ties to the local community, with recent upgrades and renovations enhancing the property.

We are looking for a motivated individual (or couple) with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in hospitality and people management who is passionate about guest services and the innkeeping lifestyle. A strong candidate will be enthusiastic, service-oriented, honest, and adaptable—someone who takes pride in their work and is committed to enhancing the reputation and occupancy of the motel.

Key Responsibilities:

-Manage front desk operations and guest services

-Ensure accurate reporting of financials and room reservations

-Oversee day-to-day motel operations

-Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of the lobby and common areas

-Perform light maintenance tasks and landscaping duties as needed

-Provide housekeeping support as necessary

-Supervise vendors, housekeepers, and other service providers

-Cultivate positive relationships with guests and staff

-Drive continuous improvement in guest satisfaction and occupancy rates

Preferred Qualifications:

-Minimum 2 years of hotel/motel or customer service experience

-Strong communication and organizational skills

-Ability to work independently and handle a variety of tasks

-Comfortable with a hands-on, small-operation hospitality environment

Housing Option:

Depending on the candidate’s needs, part of the compensation package may include a utility-paid living unit adjacent to the front desk.
