We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Part-Time Bookkeeper to join our team.
Requirements:
Proficiency in QuickBooks for accounting and bookkeeping
Expertise in bank reconciliations and financial management
Knowledge of banking transactions and recordkeeping
Strong skills in Microsoft Excel
At least 5 years of professional experience in bookkeeping or accounting
Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate financial records and prepare reports
Perform reconciliations for bank accounts and financial statements
Handle accounts payable/receivable and general ledger maintenance
Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures
Record and maintain financial transactions, such as sales, purchases, and expenses
Prepare and distribute checks for payroll and accounts payable
Prepare and file payroll taxes, reports, and W-2s
Reconcile bank statements with internal records
Prepare financial statements, such as balance sheets and income statements
Manage claims for expenses
Help prepare annual accounts
