Description We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled BI Developer/Architect to join our growing IT team. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in building a data warehouse and establishing the foundation for creating insightful dashboards using Power BI. You will be responsible for the entire process, from data extraction and transformation to building a robust data warehouse and developing interactive dashboards.Location: remote Duration: 3 months – then potential ad hocRequirements
Design, develop, and implement a data warehouse to integrate data from various sources related to the criminal justice system, including courts, sheriffs' offices, and law enforcement agencies.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand data needs and translate them into actionable data models.
Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from disparate sources to ensure data quality and consistency.
Develop and maintain complex SQL queries to retrieve and manipulate data.
Design and build interactive dashboards using Power BI to visualize key metrics and trends related to criminal justice activities (e.g., case volume, case duration, judicial officer performance).
Implement best practices for data governance and security.
Document data models, queries, and processes for future reference and knowledge transfer.
