I.T. Support Engineer

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • deploying IT equipment and account/access set up.
  • Manage hardware and software inventory and support LAN/WAN and wireless infrastructure.
  • Support VoIP phone system and video conferencing systems.
  • Manage help desk tickets from internal and external customers.
  • Manage various infrastructure projects, such as hardware and system upgrades.
  • Work closely with various departments to help support, scale, and secure the company's assets.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Strong Mac and PC administration skills
  • Experience managing Gsuite and Single Sign On integrations.
  • Networking concepts: TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VPN.
  • Experience with Atlassian (Jira, Service Desk, Confluence, etc) and Zendesk.
  • Experience in managing Office365 and Adobe.
  • Windows Server environment (Active Directory, Group Policies and WSUS).
  • Any background with AWS concepts would be a nice to have
  • Linux system troubleshooting/knowledge is a plus
  • Excellent customer service and verbal and written communication skills.

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or AA degree and/or equivalent experience and education.
  • Experience: At least 5-6 years' experience with IT system support
