The Companion Caregivers assists family members with providing care within the home and in the community. This includes relieving family members from basic self-help needs and other activities of daily living, including interaction, socialization, and continuation of daily routines that family members would ordinarily perform and/or facilitate.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Maintains confidentiality of all clients Performs duties and procedures, as assigned/directed, in an accurate and timely manner Safeguards the client/patient by observing appropriate infection control procedures, including, but not limited to Universal Precautions Notifies the Company office of any abnormal findings or conditions Adheres to standards and procedures of the Company’s In-Home Respite Services Arrives at the client’s home on time, and leaves when shift schedule is complete Represents Companion Services with a positive image at all times Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability when meeting needs Performs other duties as assigned/necessaryMinimum Requirements: Education and experience in related duties preferred; childcare experience preferred.
