With a growing patient demand, excellent patient care, and providers' quality of work/life balance taking center stage, Mercy Medical Group seeks to add a General Cardiologist to the group who is open to the following:
Offering excellent non- or limited-invasive, non-interventional general cardiology care to adult patients in our outpatient clinic and at our community hospital
Provide general cardiology care 3-4 days per week in our outpatient cardiology clinic
Implant pacemakers and loop recorders (not required skills)
Perform Cardioversion
Read echoes, Holter monitors, stress tests, and EKGs
Participating in a 1:4 shared hospital call
No outpatient clinic on hospital call day
Round on inpatients
Consult with ED and Hospitalists
Oversee the hospital’s cardiology lab
Perform TEE's (required skill)
Collaborating with the hospital’s impressive Cardiac Rehab program and staff
Enjoying a strong referral base from within our community’s providers
Partnering with highly trained, competent, and caring support staff

Diagnose and treat various medical conditions.
Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
Conduct thorough medical examinations and histories.
Communication:
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
Provide clear and concise medical information.
Foster a collaborative and patient-centered approach to healthcare.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
Document medical findings, diagnoses, and treatment plans.
Ensure compliance with coding and billing regulations.
Diagnostic Procedures:
Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging.
Perform procedures as needed

Qualifications
A valid and unrestricted California medical license
Board eligible or board certified in specified area of medical specialty (ABMS or AOA)
Completion of an accredited post-graduate training program
