Inventory Clerk

Description We are looking for an Inventory Clerk based in Goleta, California. The role primarily involves managing the stockroom, issuing components to customers, stocking incoming inventory, and conducting weekly cycle counts. This role offers a short-term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Use a barcode scanner to issue components to stockroom customers Stock incoming inventory and fill work order shortages as required Gather kit parts as per work order requirements Perform weekly cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy Ensure restocking and stocking shelves are done in an effective and efficient manner Track inventory to ensure that the supplies are always stocked Maintain a well-organized and orderly stockroom Utilize warehouse inventory systems to manage and track inventory. Requirements Proficient in managing supplies inventory and ensuring optimal stock levels Experience in tracking inventory and maintaining accurate records Familiarity with warehouse inventory procedures and systems Ability to efficiently restock merchandise and manage stockrooms Skilled in stocking shelves in a systematic and organized manner Demonstrated experience in managing stockrooms and maintaining cleanliness and organization Ability to lift and move heavy boxes and items as part of restocking and inventory management Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify discrepancies in inventory Familiarity with standard office software to record and track inventory data Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for coordinating with team members and reporting to supervisors Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot inventory issues Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
