Comfort Plumbing Systems, Inc. in Nevada County is hiring an experienced full-time Plumber's Assistant with some underground plumbing and equipment mechanical experience for our rapidly growing family business. We do full service plumbing for residential and commercial, septic systems and new construction. Uniforms are provided. Employees must be reliable, efficient, have integrity, display strong troubleshooting skills, problem solving, and have strong customer service skills.
1. Assist Plumber in their duties
2. Ability to dig trenches, compact earth and backfill holes
3. Ability to load and unload materials and equipment
4. Underground plumbing experience and understanding
5. Understand utility and current regulations experience a plus
6. Equipment mechanical skills a plus
7. Desire to work with Cal Fire operating equipment during fire season
8. Maintain a positive outlook and have a willingness to learn
9. Able to work both independently and as part of a team
10. Be professional, accurate, and timely
11. Maintain a clean, organized job site
12. Able to lift 50 lbs., crawl in attics, crawl spaces and under sinks
13. Have a valid driver's license and clean DMV record
14. A Class A license is a plus
Hours are Monday through Friday 7:30 am - 4:00 pm
