Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Fleet Mechanic to join our team. The Fleet Mechanic will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a variety of vehicles and equipment in our fleet.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance on fleet vehicles and equipment
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
- Conduct inspections to ensure vehicles meet safety standards
- Keep detailed records of maintenance and repairs
- Operate heavy equipment such as snowplows, motor graders, loaders and excavators when necessary
Requirements
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in diesel engine repair
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and operate heavy equipment
- Proficiency in servicing shocks, struts, and transmissions
- Familiarity with Caterpillar equipment is a plus
- Previous experience as a service technician is preferred
- High school diploma

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23-28 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week

Experience:
Diesel engine repair: 4 years (Required)
