We provide on the job training, though experience in general repairs and maintenance as well as specialized fields like carpentry, electrical, and plumbing are a plus. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently or as part of a team when needed.
Duties
Perform general labor as part of assigned projects.
Perform repairs on residential and commercial properties, including but not limited to plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting tasks.
Respond promptly to service requests, ensuring timely completion of all assigned tasks.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.
Collaborate with other techs as needed for larger projects or repairs.
Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used for each job.
Experience and Requirements
Experience in general repairs and maintenance is ideal, and knowledge in specialized fields like carpentry, electrical, and plumbing are a plus.
Must have reliable transportation.
Must have a set of hand tools (power tools will be provided if needed).
Familiarity with tools, equipment, and materials used in maintenance work.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing time effectively.
Good communication skills to interact with clients and team members professionally.
