Our company designs and sells broadcast TV and teleprompting products. We need a person who enjoys making outbound sales calls in a nice office with friendly co-workers. Ideally, we need an outgoing person with a good voice who can listen to customers after delivering their initial message. We also need a person who can understand film-related products (after we train you), and the markets they serve. Our customers are interesting, and varied. They include Universities, Hotels and Convention Centers, Politicians, Corporations, and Churches.
We will supply all sales leads to you, and ask that you keep a record of callbacks, feedback and success in a basic spreadsheet. Record-keeping will be kept to a minimum because we want you to focus on sales calls.
There will be some email to customers, but the primary focus is to develop warm leads from previous trade shows, databases and other sources provided to you. We offer $20/hour plus a 10% commission. Our products range from $3K to $12K. This would be an ideal job for a semi-retired person who wants to stay engaged with people. This is a P/T position, 1-2 days/week.
