Job duties include:
Scheduling meetings, depositions, hearings, and other events as directed by attorneys
Calendaring and monitoring deadlines
Contacting clients for status updates and drafting memorandums
Ordering medical records and medical bills, tracking requests, and logging receipts
Ordering police reports, investigative reports, and submitting Public Records Act requests
Ordering employment records and other documents to support lost income claims
Reviewing and summarizing medical records, medical bills and depositions
Organizing exhibits for use at trial
Attending defense medical examinations with clients and providing support
Drafting and proofreading correspondence, pleadings, disbursements, and other case-related documents
Receiving, reviewing, cataloging, and monitoring personal injury liens, contact information (clients, case parties, opposing counsel, experts, etc.), subpoenas, and depositions transcripts
Recording and monitoring litigation costs
Candidate must have a strong work ethic, a strong desire to help people, be able to multi-task, work well in a team environment, have excellent communication skills, and interact with vendors, clients, colleagues, defense counsel, and the court in a professional and mature manner. Candidate should also be technologically savvy and capable of utilizing the firm’s software programs including: Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel, and Adobe Acrobat Pro and other practice management software. Training will be provided.
