Immediate opening for an experienced Mill Machinist. Preferred knowledge of Haas controls and machines. The software we have in house includes Hypermill and Gibbscam. For higher end pay we would expect the ability to program, set up, and run parts accurately with limited supervision. We like our machinists to gain experience in all aspects of machining. If they do not already possess it, we are willing to help them gain the knowledge to take parts from raw materials to finished goods.
Duties & Responsibilities May Include:
- Programing parts from provided .step file or other CAD models
- Performing QUICK and ACCURATE setups under MINIMAL supervision after proper training
- Must be able to operate multiple machines if asked
- Must read and interpret blueprints accurately
- Fill out traveler and time sheets accurately and honestly
- Use gauges and measuring instruments to ensure tolerance requirements
- Understand and have the ability to perform tool wear offsets
Equipment we have:
-3, 4, and 5 Axis Haas Mills, Trunnions, and Rotary tables
-Various sizes including DM1, VF2, VF3, VF 4, VF 5 (50 taper) and UMC 750
-Software owned includes Gibbscam and Hypermill
