JOB TITLE: Lathe Operator
Status: Full Time
Shift: Day Shift

Key Responsibilities:
Operate multiple machines at a time while maintaining a high attention to detail. Efficiently deburr and carry out post-op quality assurance. Effectively read basic engineering prints.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Skill Level Demonstrated Operations Skills:
Deburr flats and shapes
Ream and tap holes
Use power and hand tools
Keep track of jobs and travelers
Keep Deburr area clean
Tumble parts/ sandblast
Other duties as assigned by management
Safety minded
Able to lift 50 pounds
Education and Experience:
No degree required
Prior machine operation experience is a plus
Must be able to identify types of material and use grainer and hand grainer
Use of GO/NOGO gauges
Sanding, buffing and polishing of steels and aluminum materials
Familiarity with the operation of the following equipment: grainer, power hand tools, grinder, hand grinder, angle grinder, drills, band saw, files, saws, sandpaper and Deburr tools
Highly motivated and team player
