Job Description
Fat and the Moon is a made to order, herbalist formulated Self Care Brand. Our Making Team is in need of a helping hand to support our potion making process in running smoothly & assisting in general support. This position requires good communication skills as it coordinates with the Making Team, the Receiver & Ordering.
Responsibilities:
Distribute shipments among House Departments from the warehouse
Sorting of ingredients to their designated home (Dating for Makers/Shipping/OPS)
Notifying dept with “Special” orders or sample shipments
Keeping cleaning supplies and soaps stocked.
Prep & fill Shakers & Sample pouches
Fill Ingredient bulk bins, Oils & Oxides
Running errands (Minimal shopping for supplies.)
Quality control of ingredients
Dishwashing maker dishes and production equipment.
Monitor, update ingredients & packaging inventory via white board weekly
Using an industrial Sifter & Grinder for ingredients (Seaweed, arrowroot & Myrrh)
Maintain house stock of packaging for makers (jars, tins, bottles, tops, etc.)
Be an integral part of the overall organizational efforts/cleanliness in Making Dept (taking out trash, helping with dishes, wiping down bins and cardboard management)
Batch tracking products & occasionally assist in stickering backstock
Supporting Receiving, Making and Shipping dept. as needed
Communicating with ALL departments (Low or Damaged stock)
Must be able to lift 60 lbs and stand for long periods of time
Along with the skills mentioned above, Fat and the Moon is looking for people who have a keen attention to detail, good communication skills, who work well as part of a team, and who enjoy maintaining a neat work environment. Pay: $18 per hour
Ideal Hours/Schedule: Beginning at 20 hours per week (4-5 days a week)
