I am a 55 year old retired professional. I have been quadriplegic since the age of 17. I get around in a motorized wheelchair, and I can move my arms just enough that I can feed myself with an adaptive hand brace.

Job Duties
I need assistance with performing all of the basic, simple functions of everyday living (ADL's) - transfers, bathing, dressing, grooming, bladder/bowel care, cooking, cleaning, laundry, exercises, medication administration, driving to appointments, running errands, etc.
Requirements
Reliable transportation, a valid drivers license, a good DMV record, and current auto insurance
Social security card
Hands-on healthcare experience
Must be strong, as this is a physical job; transfer requires lifting 120lbs
Must commit to working at least one year, as paid training is a significant investment
Taxes withheld from paychecks
Pass Live Scan
Willingness and flexibility to back up shifts when other caregivers are out

Schedule
3-5 morning shifts each week; this shift is approximately 6:30 AM to 12:30 PM
(a few other shifts are also available in addition to the mornings)
Pay/Salary
$25/hr. Also included- overtime, sick pay, and periodic raises
Extensive training is provided until we both feel comfortable in your ability to perform all parts of the job independently.
Full-time employees (32 hrs per week) are eligible for health, dental, and vision insurance.
