The Imperial Hotel + Restaurant is seeking experienced line cooks to help us realize our vision and make the Imperial Hotel a premier boutique hotel in the Sierra Foothills.

We are looking to work with staff to creatively manifest an inclusive and progressive hospitality community. Here’s a rough breakdown of the position’s primary responsibilities:

This is for Dinner Shifts Thursday - Saturday, with possibility of some Sunday Brunch shifts.

● Friendly, genuine, and warm service to guests and coworkers alike.

● Prep all food items each day, execute, and serve all food to the highest possible standards of the business and health department.

● Communicate all needs to the head chef to execute a smooth shift.

● Ensure proactive maintenance of kitchen equipment and of all F&B areas. Maintain kitchen cleanliness by working directly with and supporting the dish and prep team.

● Be punctual, reliable, and a supportive member of our team.

● Must be available in afternoons and evenings Thursday - Saturday, plus holidays. Some Sundays may be needed seasonally.

Ideal qualifications include:

● Line cook and/or prep cook experience.

● Hospitality instincts and personable service.

● Willing to learn, be developed, and collaborate with the Head chef and BOH team.

● Adaptability to a dynamic and evolving work environment.

● Solid communication skills.

● Ability to identify what needs to get done, and to get it done (problem solver).

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.50 - $19 per hour, plus tips
