Provide music instruction for students grades 1-8. The Music Specialist may be instructing in a variety of musical contexts: violin, cello, recorder, pentatonic flute, and singing as well as instructing students to recognize and read music notation, depending upon hire.
Prior violin and other musical experience, experience working with school age children. An understanding of Waldorf education as it relates to music. Patience, punctuality, and dependability: willingness to learn and grow: effective classroom management skills. California Teaching Credential or Certificate of Clearance required. Successful applicant must agree to background check and TB test.
