Maintenance Mechanic (CNC Mechanic)

Description:Day shift 6am-3:30pm maintenance mechanic need for a manufacturer of precision machined components and assemblies for the aerospace and industrial markets. The position includes preventative maintenance and the repair of CNC machines and other miscellaneous equipment used in the support of Production. The technician will be responsible for troubleshooting both mechanical and electrical systems as well as maintaining coolant systems. The technician will work independently and with other personnel to coordinate and perform planned maintenance and minor troubleshooting activities.Major Duties and Responsibilities Diagnose, adjust, repair, or replace electronic circuitry including wiring, motor controls and sensors Diagnose, adjust, repair, or replace non-functioning hydraulic and pneumatic components Diagnose, adjust, repair, or replace non-functioning machine components and control instruments Read and interpret electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic schematics Record and maintain repair records on all equipment Comfortable working flexible hours, including overtime as needed Ability to work independently with limited supervision Operate forklift and other basic loading and unloading equipment as required Ensure all safety guidelines are followedSkills:Cnc, Blueprint, PLC, Electrical, mechanical, pneumatics, Coolant, Maintenance, machine, mechanic, hydraulicsTop Skills Details:Cnc,Blueprint,PLC,Electrical,mechanical,pneumaticsAdditional Skills & Qualifications:Perform all required operations and inspections to maintain in proper repair and adjustments of all CNC Grinders, Lathes and standard and non-standard machine tools, and equipment, plus all machinery and equipment to keep the plant functional. Specifically, this shall include motors, solenoids, specialized and standardized control circuits and switches, panel boards, PLC ‘s electronic controls, and the inspection, repair and revision of all existing electrical circuitry and the installation of new circuitry, AC or DC (any voltage), where required. Perform mechanical repairs such as the installation of bearings, gears, valves, shafts as required to make the unit operational.TOP QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge of the operation of CNC controls is desired but not required 2-5+ years professional experience within equipment maintenance Strong mechanic Knowledge (preferably with industrial production equipment or CNC) Experience working on industrial high voltage wiring. Experience with tear-downs and rebuilding machines & equipment Working knowledge of electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems Understanding of electrical and/or electronic systems Experience and ability to perform minor building & facility maintenance repairs such as air compressor maintenance and more Technical Military training may be held in lieu of professional experienceExperience Level:Intermediate LevelAbout Aerotek:We know that a company's success starts with its employees.
