Collections Specialist

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Collections Specialist in Gardena, California. The role will involve managing collections on non-paying loans, preparing reports, maintaining accurate loan servicing records, and handling office management functions. Responsibilities: Manage collections on non-paying loans and ensure timely follow-up on unpaid loan payments Track and monitor loan extensions and charges, and manage incoming payments as required Generate interest adjustments and calculations in collaboration with the Loan Servicing Department Prepare reconveyances for loan payoffs as requested by title/escrow companies Generate monthly and quarterly reports for investors Prepare and provide Loan Servicing Agreements and statements to Investors Handle front office/office manager functions as required Use accounting software systems for efficient data entry and processing Collaborate with colleagues in different departments to ensure smooth operations Uphold ethical standards in all interactions and maintain confidentiality and privacy of borrower information.
