We are looking for a General Manager to oversee all staff, budgets, and operations of our dynamic and growing manufacturing and constructor located in San Joaquin Valley. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the General Manager will formulate overall strategy, manage people, and establish policies, and ultimately help our company grow and thrive. This demanding role requires an experienced, thoughtful leader, and a confident decision-maker who can help our people develop and be productive while ensuring our profits are on the rise.

As the General Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing day-to-day operations
- Designing strategy and setting goals for growth
- Maintaining budgets and optimizing expenses
- Setting policies and processes
- Ensuring employees work productively and develop professionally
- Overseeing recruitment and training of new employees
- Evaluating and improving operations and financial performance
- Directing the employee assessment process
- Preparing regular reports for upper management
- Ensuring staff follows health and safety regulations
- Providing solutions to issues (e.g. profit decline, employee conflicts, loss of business to competitors)
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience as a General Manager or similar executive role
- Experience in planning and budgeting
- Knowledge of business processes and functions (finance, HR, procurement, operations, etc.)
- Strong financial analytics skills
- Strong analytical ability with well-developed metrics systems and processes
- Excellent communication skills
- Outstanding organizational and leadership skills
- Problem-solving aptitude
- Ability to effectively manage engineering professionals
- BSc/BA in Business or relevant field; MSc/MA is a plus
