Responsibility:
Operate forklift and perform all job duties in a productive manner, demonstrating initiative and involvement and maintaining adequate levels of productivity, utilization, and efficiency.
Procedure (s):
1.0 General Forklift Operator Job Duties:
1.1 Performs daily maintenance check of forklift operation and turns in a written report to shift supervisor on a daily basis.
1.2 Move product bin released from production to designated staging within the warehouse
in a timely and efficient manner.
1.3 Needs to be proficient knowledge of all finished product and proper rotation of stock using
the FIFO (First In / First Out) method.
Case pick pallets / loads of mixed product as needed.
Capable of adjusting weights on over-weight trailers as needed.
1.2 Pest Inspection:
Ensure all pallets to be use in production must be inspected for pest finding, access debris, damage, water damage, or tampering prior to coming into the production building or before being transferred from room to room.
Ensure all product bins to be use in production must be inspected for pest finding, access debris, damage, water damage, or tampering prior to coming into the production building or before being transferred from room to room.
Ensure all product sacks to be use in production must be inspected for pest finding, access debris, damage, water damage, or tampering prior to coming into the production building or before being transferred from room to room.
Ensure all product totes to be use in production must be inspected for pest finding, access debris, damage, water damage, or tampering prior to coming into the production building or before being transferred from room to room.
1.3 Silo report sheet that you will document of products being received and where product
came from before starting produce.
Ensure to always look inside silo window to ensure you have room for dumping more product.
1.4 When product is falling down elevator conveyor something wrong you must:
stop the pit conveyor
