We are currently seeking an experienced Finisher to join our team at Western Highways Traffic Safety Products, located in Selma, CA. As a Finisher, your job duties would consist of wiring and cleaning custom truck beds. This role involves completing electrical tasks within the factory, ensuring safety, quality, and compliance with standards. You will work in teams to meet deadlines.
We are looking for someone who enjoys building organized, beautiful, and intricate parts, harnesses, and assemblies in a meticulous manner. The person who will be the right fit for us will be open-minded, creative, and enjoy problem-solving.
Job Responsibilities:
Troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems and equipment
Installing new electrical systems and equipment as needed
Performing preventative maintenance on electrical systems and equipment
Maintaining tool cart and keeping it stocked with proper tools and equipment
Determining when additional material is required to complete job
Following approved plans and shop drawings while maintaining quality standards
Configuring and testing system components to ensure proper operation and performance
Performing and documenting work completed via digital work instructions
Ensuring job sites are left clean and orderly
Adhering to all safety guidelines and procedures
Qualifications Required:
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 2 years of electrical installation and repair experience preferred
Completion of an apprenticeship program or technical school in electrical maintenance preferred
Ability to solder, crimp, cut, and strip wires accurately, and have a desire to learn how to fabricate and assemble complete harnesses
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues
Competency with high-speed equipment while ensuring safety
Excellent attention-to-detail and craftsmanship
Ability to handle multiple tasks with urgency
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods of time
Equipment Tools used previously: Pliers, Hammer, Drill, Impact Wrench, Circular Saw, Dielectric Tester, Continuity Tester, Voltage Meter, Splice Tool
Personal Protective Equipment used previously: Hard Hat, Arm Sleeves, Safety Glasses, Work Gloves, Steel-Toed Boots
