We are a cold storage business based in Reedley, CA looking for a warehouse worker to fill an open position. We have been in business over 5 years and are growing quickly. We are looking for someone to be a part of our warehouse team that enjoys doing what they do and also understands the importance of their contribution. You would be a very important part of the customer service process we strive so hard to give. Job duties consist of picking and pulling orders for most of the day in a refrigerated environment. It is fast paced and attention to detail is a must. Warehouse experience is mandatory.
Duties include but are not limited to:
-Loading/unloading trucks
-Receive and inventory incoming product
-Pick and deliver product to the inventory floor as dictated by the schedule of releases
-Organize, rotate, maintain and verify existing inventory
-Safely operate manual and ride-on pallet jacks and forklifts
-Communicate to department leadership if product is damaged, inventory is low, count is off, etc.
-Wrapping pallets
-Receiving truck deliveries
-General warehouse duties
-Maintaining a clean and orderly warehouse
Job Requirements:
-Ability to work in a cold environment
-Basic math and computer skills
-Knowledge of safety procedures and protocols
-Experience operating warehouse equipment
-Attention to details
-Ability to work in a team environment
-Flexibility and adaptability
-Strong work ethic and reliability
-Excellent communication skills
1+ year experience operating ride-on pallet jacks & forklifts (mandatory)
1+ year experience in a warehouse position (mandatory)
1+ year experience working in a cold storage facility (preferred)
Additional Requirements:
-Must be able to lift 30-50 pounds
-Work overtime when necessary
-Standing/walking most of the day
-Exposure to temperatures
