Caregiver

Caregiver - Part-time. Your work schedule would be Saturdays 5pm to 10pm and every other weekend Saturday 10am to 5pm and Sunday 10am to 5pm. Preferably you can do all of the shifts, but candidates that can only do one or more shifts will be considered. I am a young, physically handicapped female in a wheelchair. I have a master’s degree in mental health counseling with a Christian background. You will need to assist with activities of daily living including cooking, cleaning and transferring to and from wheelchair. You must either be registered with In Home Supportive Services (IHSS) or willing to become registered which is easy to do, have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. I’m easy going, have a sense of humor, like sports, movies, games, Bible study, and stimulating conversation. Although the duties are caregiving I’m also looking for someone who is willing to engage in conversation and assist me in various activities to develop our relationship into a caregiver/companion role.
