Accounts Payable Clerk

Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in Fresno, California. This role is within the agriculture industry and will be focused on maintaining our accounts payable processes. The successful candidate will be proficient in Famous Software and have a strong understanding of the Accounts Payable function.Responsibilities: Process accounts payable transactions accurately and timely using Famous Software. Verify invoices, purchase orders, and payment requests for accuracy and authorization. Maintain vendor records and reconcile statements. Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments. Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date and resolve any discrepancies. Assist with month-end closing and reporting as needed. Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to resolve issues and inquiries promptly. Maintain confidentiality of financial information and adhere to company policies and procedures. Apply skills such as Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable (AP), Check Runs, Coding Invoices, Data Entry, Invoice Processing, Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, SAP, and Famous in daily tasks. Requirements Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) procedures Experience with account reconciliation Skilled in check runs and coding invoices Familiarity with data entry and invoice processing Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Knowledge of Oracle, QuickBooks, SAP, and Famous software Ability to handle confidential information with discretion Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Demonstrated problem-solving skills Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
