Accounting Manager

Description We are offering an opportunity for an Accounting Manager/Supervisor in Fresno, California. This role primarily involves overseeing customer credit applications, maintaining customer credit records, and addressing customer credit inquiries. Moreover, the successful candidate will monitor customer credit accounts and take appropriate action on delinquent payments.Responsibilities: Processing customer credit applications accurately and efficiently. Maintaining accurate customer credit records. Resolving customer credit inquiries promptly. Monitoring customer credit accounts regularly. Taking appropriate action to collect delinquent payments. Preparing monthly statements by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data, information, and trends. Complying with state and federal tax filing requirements and advising management on required actions. Responding to financial inquiries by gathering, analyzing, summarizing, and interpreting data. Providing financial advice by studying operational issues and developing recommendations. Preparing special reports by studying variances, preparing budgets, and developing forecasts. Ensuring company accounting procedures conform to generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). Maintaining accounting controls by preparing and recommending improved policies and procedures. Assembling data for external and internal audit processes. Assisting with special projects and other functions as required by management. Utilizing skills in Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Month End Close, and General Ledger. Requirements Candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in an Accounting Manager or Supervisor role. Proficiency in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is essential. Experience in performing Month End Close tasks is necessary. Familiarity with General Ledger processes is a must. Excellent communication and organizational skills are required. The ability to work independently and as part of a team is needed. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are crucial. Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite is preferred. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field is required. Professional accounting certification such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant) is desirable. Ability to adhere to strict deadlines while maintaining accuracy is necessary. Experience in managing a team is a plus.
