We are a Structural Engineering/Design Firm in Madera, seeking a Lead Designer to add to our team.
The candidate (s) must be proficient with AutoCAD, prior experience in Architectural/Structural drafting and detailing preferred.
Responsibilities:
Creating and modifying drawings using AutoCAD, based on hand-drawn sketches, marked-up PDF files, and/or verbal instructions.
Develops necessary plans and details with limited supervision.
Ensure that deliverables are on schedule, complete and meet companies QA qualifications.
Drafting diploma or certificate, Associates degree in an engineering design related technology is preferred.
2+ years of drafting experience using AutoCAD.
Ability to interpret structural, architectural,civil and MEP drawings.
Knowledge and Experience with reading and developing Building Plans
Knowledge and understanding of standard practices and principals for structural drafting and detailing.
Knowledge of US standards for concrete, masonry,and wood construction, especially for projects located in CA.
Must be able and willing to learn on the job requirements that include Architectural and StructuralAuthorized to work legally in the US without sponsorship.
