Part time Daycare Assistant Needed

Part time position available for someone punctual, professional, flexible and reliable who enjoys playing with children, is patient, but at the same time is firm, respectful and kind. The position is fast paced and requires attention to multiple things at the same time and a lot of physical activity. Duties include but are not limited to: interacting and playing with children, cleaning daycare areas/kitchen/bathroom, cleaning and arranging toys and materials, organizing play areas and group play, diapering, potty training, doing circle time, arts and crafts, planning and implementing curriculum, and light meal preparation. Some experience in Child Development and Spanish speaking is preferred but not required. Reimbursable Child Development trainings/classes are available as well as mentoring. Candidates need current Pediatric CPR/First Aid ( I pay for re-certification or reimburse after 3 months), MMR and tdap vaccinations required (flu and COVID vaccine optional but recommended), TB test, and finger prints (I also reimburse after 3 months and provide the forms). Candidate must have ability to lift at least 30 pounds, and able to be around a big dog and a rabbit. I provide meals, coffee and snacks but you are welcome to bring your own. Schedule is flexible 3-4 days per week and 6-8 hours per day (lunch breaks are paid). Please email your resume for consideration. Located in Northwest Fresno, behind the Island Water Park.
