Arabesque Conservatory of Music invites applications for a contract private piano instructor position.
Our school services the Fresno area and offers private in-home lessons.
The candidate must be a skilled and compassionate teacher, who is able to demonstrate a deep knowledge of the instrument, practice repertoire, and music theory.
QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to teach in student's homes in Fresno and surroundings
Driver License and Reliable Transportation Required
A record of effective teaching experience in private piano instruction
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Strong command of technology to support teaching
Expertise in teaching piano technique
Experience with special needs preferred
RESPONSIBILITIES
Teaching private lessons to students in-home
Preparing lessons that are tailored to students' needs
Helping students to develop confidence in their performance skills and general musicianship
Documenting and reporting on students' progress
COMPENSATION
Starting rate is $70 / Hour
