Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Logistics and Procurement Assistant. This position plays a critical role in supporting the operations, logistics, and procurement functions of our Custom Seating Manufacturing Company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a wide variety of tasks, including job costing, procurement of materials, logistics coordination, inventory management, and supporting customer billing—all while utilizing our ERP software, INNERGY. The ability to multitask, communicate effectively, and work with internal teams is essential to ensure smooth project execution and timely deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:

Job Costing & Financial Record Keeping

Travel Coordination of Installs

Shipping & Logistics

Sample Coordination & Fabric Selection

Procurement & Ordering

Inventory & Stock Management

Customer Billing Support and Project Closeout

Customer Service & Phone Support

Qualifications:

Proven experience in operations, procurement, logistics, or a similar field. Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.

Familiarity with ERP software (preferably INNERGY) or similar systems is preferred.

Strong experience with administrative tasks, including phone handling, email communication, and file management.

Skills:

Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize.

Proficiency in Gmail & QBO and the ability to learn new software quickly.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.

Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to sit for extended periods while working on a computer.

Ability to lift up to 25 lbs when handling materials and shipments.
