Description
-Collects, analyzes, interpret and report financial data for third-party management firm
- Maintain, submit, and manage accurate data, reports, and workflow in cloud-based platform
- Perform full cycle A/P processes upon management approvals
-Day to day accounting functions for multiple entity enterprise
-Prepares monthly reports; P & L’s, budgets, monthly forecasts, Actuals vs Projected, etc
-Maintains the general ledgers and accounting procedures for multiple companies/entities with accurate records of crop management expenses
- Back up A/R, A/P and payroll as needed
- Assist and back up Controller by providing accounting and administrative support for the agribusiness
Requirements
-5+ years of hands-on financial accounting experience in agricultural, food processing or relevant industry strongly desired
-BS in Accounting preferred
-Experience with different farm-related accounting procedures and functions i.e. Cost Accounting, huller invoicing, water distribution, etc.
-QuickBooks Desktop preferred
-Strong analytical skills
-Ability to solve problems and work independently and in team environment
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook required
-Excellent communication, written and verbal and strong organizational skills a must
-Detail oriented and accurate
- Must be tech savvy and able to quickly adapt to cloud-based bill pay software and workflow management tools
