Description
- Provide reports and in- depth analysis and related information to Controller, meeting all deadlines
- Oversee CAPEX spending and fixed assets
- Datamine and analyze data reports collected and record results
- Analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and GAAP compliance
- Reconciliations of bank and balance sheets
- Establish, monitor, and enforce policies and procedures guiding financial decisions
- Ensure proper cash flow management and identify financial irregularities
- Manage inventory controls, analysis, reconciliations, and valuations
- Assist in the preparation of monthly/quarterly/ yearly closing and financial statements and provide accurate information for budgets and forecasts
-Supervise and guide accounting staff, oversee postings, journal entries and maintain proper ledger entries
- Participate in the development of company’s strategic planning
- Ad hoc projects as required
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration required
- 5 + years Accounting Supervisor experience required, manufacturing or waste management industry is a plus
- Multiple entity work experience is a must have
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Excel required including macros
- Excellent analytical skills with ability to manage large amounts of data
- Must have ability to identify problems and irregularities and find viable and cost saving solutions
- Must be able to hit the ground running and work in fast paced environments with ability to juggle, prioritize and multi-task, all while meet deadlines
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Hands on work ethics
