Job description

Overview

The Accounting Manager will be responsible for managing financial operations, including bookkeeping, payroll, invoicing, accounts payable/receivable, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and accounts management, with prior experience working in the trucking or automotive repair industry preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

Must Have Quick Books and other accounting software working experience.

Minimum 3 years experience working as an accountant

Should have Accounts payable and receivable experience

Must have experience of working with MS office

This is a Fresno based job working in office

Must have experience in managing accounts for trucking companies.

Manage all accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and tax filings.

Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, reports, and statements.

Process and track invoices for both trucking and repair services.

Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to help guide business decisions.

Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements.

Ensure compliance with relevant accounting regulations, tax laws, and industry standards.

Work closely with management to analyze financial performance and identify areas for improvement.

Coordinate audits and provide necessary documentation.

Manage vendor relationships, negotiate payment terms, and ensure timely payments.

Requirements

Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and guide team members.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a knack for building rapport with clients.

Ability to negotiate effectively while maintaining positive relationships with clients.

A proactive approach to problem-solving with a focus on customer satisfaction.

Familiarity with warm calling techniques and sales strategies is highly desirable.

Pay: $55,529.00 - $60,000.00 per year

Schedule:

Monday to Friday

Weekends as needed

Supplemental Pay:

Performance bonus
