Metrology Inspection Technician

The primary duties for this position are: create, modify/optimize inspection recipes on all available inspection tools (ComPlus, NSX, ODIN and AVI) to support wafer production line at WDC Fremont wafer fab. In addition, report the inspection tool issue, inspection results via all available communication tools - MITECS-annotation, Teams, Emails etc. to the engineering teams cross the organizations. Disposition wafers per OCAP instructions. Carry out small relevant projects.The second major duties are to support the general Metrology - such as helping to dispo wafers, re-measure wafers, in the trained metrology modules so to reduce the wafer holds and therefore reduce the Cycle Time.
